  • Morten L. Dyrsø Lustrup

    Wheel Throwing + Glaze Master

I touched my first piece of clay in my aunt’s workshop when I was around 6, and haven’t looked back since. Besides wheel throwing my main expertise is everything that has to do with glazes.

  • Lena Malchau

    Studio Elf + Mug Master

  • Julia Krzywinska

    Studio Assistance + Wheel Throwing

graduated at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław with a degree in Ceramics, before going to Seoul, South Korea to perfect my wheel throwing skills at Kyung Hee University. Now I’m enjoying everything Copenhagen has to offer!

When I’m being creative myself, I like to deconstructing concepts related to body, identity, culture and technology. It’s awesome.

In my spare time I like to go to art shows and produce music, which sometimes goes with my own projects.

I graduated from The Royal Danish Academy on Bornholm in 2024 with a degree in glass and ceramics.

My artistic practice is a fusion of traditional craftsmanship, design, and experimental artistry, resulting in the creation of large, sculptural, and functional objects (primarily) in clay!

I started throwing in 2014 and got quite quickly caught by it! Since then I travelled to Japan to pursue this interest and eventually wound up in Bornholm in 2019 where I got a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics. Since graduating, I have been working as an artist using clay as well as other materials too.
I look forward to sharing some of my love for the wheel and clay with you !

Ever since i was introduced to ceramics at Ry Højskole in 2018, I have loved worked with this natural material. I since attended Aarhus Art Academy to master my wheel throwing skills.

I can’t seem to get enough, so I am currently studying Art History and Modern Culture at Copenhagen University to examine clay in an academic context.

To me its important to both understand clay as art and craftsmanship with my head as well as my hands.

  • Maria Thind

    Studio Elf

  • Morgan Wendlandt

    Hand Building

I discovered a passion for clay at an early age and gravitated towards hand building techniques to create sculptural works and intricate pieces with various themes. I am originally from the US, but have now relocated to Denmark after finishing my Bachelor’s degree.

When I’m not getting a sculpture just right, I delve into jewelry making, watercolor painting, sewing and theater.

I believe that art is inherently therapeutic, offering value beyond technical skill or the final product. I like to emphasizes the importance of the creative process itself, advocating for its potential to foster personal growth and well-being.
